Two-Way Ruffled Scarf
Pattern: Two-Way Ruffled Scarf by Churchmouse Classics
Yarn: Kidsilk Haze by Rowan Yarns
Needle Size: US 9 (16" circular)
I picked up this shop pattern from Churchmouse Yarns & Teas just before going to see 127 Hours at the nearby theatre in Bainbridge Island. They had several samples around the shop and I instantly fell in love with the delicate, feminine look of this versatile scarf.
The idea is that you can make two scarves in contrasting colors and wear one inside the other (they are both tubes) to give a multi-dimensional effect. Churchmouse also sells handmade velvet clips that pair perfectly with the scarves.
I am making both scarves using the eyelet lace version of the pattern (the other version is stockinette). The pattern is very easy to follow, though I've found that Kidsilk Haze on Addi Turbo needles is quite slippery. I've had stitches fall off several times, so go carefully, fellow knitters!
