Pattern: Sea Star from Amigurumi Knits

Yarn: Wool scraps

Needle Size: US 4

I purchased this book recently, and it is the coolest thing ever! You can knit vegetables, sea creatures, garden critters, and even mythical creatures, like the Jack-a-lope.

I decided to start with one of the easier patterns, the sea star (or starfish). I was able to knit it in a couple of sittings and it was a blast. I did find an error in the pattern, which was a little disappointing. But otherwise, I can't recommend this book highly enough!

Next, I will attempt the praying mantis!
